Art Survey 3D
Course Description:
This course provides the necessary background to allow students to move into a more advanced class. Skills and knowledge in the areas of sculpture, art history, and three-dimensional design are expected to be gained by the learner. The course runs one semester and is meant to be a companion course to Art Survey 2-D. Students must complete both semesters of Art Survey before they are allowed to move into any upper level art courses.

Major Course Objectives:
- Sampling in clay and other three demensional media
- Basic craftsmanship abilities
- Knowledge of related artists and styles from art history
- Exposure/discussion of careers in visual art

Lab Fee:
Students will need to provide a five dollar lab fee to pay for supplies needed for this course. Students will also be expected to bring a sketchbook/bound notebook to class with a pencil and computer every day.
